Welcome to documentation for The Violence Tool, a Grease Pencil layer management system designed for 2D animation workflows in Blender.

This documentation covers v2.0 of the tool, updated for compatibility with Blender 5.x and Grease Pencil 3.

Note

Docs for the previous version of the tool are available using the version selector in the bottom-left corner of this page. Right now, v1.0 documentation can be found by selecting “Stable” and covers the original workflow for Blender 4.1.1 if still preferred.
